A' Versle, a' g'spaßig's,
hat mei Bua auf mi' g'macht:
Dös hat er mir geb'n
beim Fensterl'n auf d'Nacht:
"Du alloan bist mei' Freud',
bist mei' Trost in der Not,
und wenn's ma nöt lad wär,
i busselt di z'tot!"
Drauf sag' i: "Dös Busseln,
dös is ja ka Sünd';
du därfst di nöt fürchten,
du därfst di nit fürchten:
i, i stirb' nöt so g'schwind!"
