Oh, if I knew at all The way to grow quite small, And if a pair of wings I could but borrow, And if I did but know The proper way to go, I'd fly away to Fairy-land to-morrow" There all the summer day I'd sleep the hours away, A roof of cool and shady green above me ; And all the summer night I'd dance to music light, And all the little fairy men would love me!
