by Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926)

Lag auf einer Trommel nackt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Lag auf einer Trommel nackt,
kaum zwei Spannen lang,
und der rauhe Trommeltakt
war mein Wiegensang.

Wild zu wettern taugte ich
damals schon im Zorn,
meine Milch, die saugte ich
aus dem Pulverhorn.

Damals taufte jeden gut
der Korp'ral; beim Schopf
nahm er ihn, goß Schwedenblut
heiß ihm übern Kopf.
