Wie man zu einem Sterne
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie man zu einem Sterne
In stiller Sehnsucht blickt,
Hab ich aus blauer Ferne
Dir Gruß um Gruß geschickt!

Du lebtest mir im Herzen
Und hast es nicht gewußt,
Doch trug ich deine Schmerzen
Und teilte deine Lust!

Der Stern am Himmelsbogen
Kehrt jede Nacht zurück, --
Doch du bist fortgegangen
Und mit dir zog mein Glück! -- --
