Le berger lentement regagne sa demeure ;
Tout est triste au vallon ; Olivier n’est pas là !
De notre rendez-vous lui-même a fixé l’heure.
Je n’avais rien promis, et pourtant me voilà.

Adieu, mon Olivier ; je m’en vais au village ;
