La corbeille de mariage
Language: French (Français)
La voici donc cette corbeille,
éblouissante de blancheur !
C'est un trésor, une merveille
quelks jolis noeuds, quelle fraicheur !
De mon futur si la présence
n'obtient de moi qu'indifference,
aujourd'huice cadeau charmant
fait naître un plus doux sentiment.

Eh, vite ! cuvrons quelle richesse !
Quel éclat vient frapper mes yeux !
Quand je serais une duchesse,
qu'aurais-je de plus précieux ?
Fleurs rubans, étoffes nouvelles,
plumes et voiles de dentelles.
Ah, monsieur, ce cadeau charmant
m'attache à vous bien tendrement.

Maman avait raison de dire:
Le mariage est séduisant,
mon dieu, que vois-je, un cachemire !
Cela devient interessant !
Cherchons encore une fourure,
de diamans une parure !
Mon futur, quel cadeau charmant,
je vous adore en ce moment !
