by Hermann von Gilm zu Rosenegg (1812 - 1864)

Daß gestern eine Wespe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Daß gestern eine Wespe
Dich in [die Lippe]1 stach,
Sei darob nicht verdrießlich
Und trag es ihr nicht nach.

Die Wespen waren immer
Ein friedliches Geschlecht,
Sie naschen nur gern Süßes
Und darin tun sie recht.

Daß sie für eine Kirsche
Den Mund hat angesehen,
Ist fast ein menschlich Irren
Und kann anch mir geschehn.
