by Johann Ludwig Uhland (1787 - 1862)

Frühlingslied des Rezensenten
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Frühling ist's, ich laß es gelten,
Und mich freut's, ich muß gestehen,
Daß man kann spazieren gehen,
Ohne just sich zu erkälten.

Störche kommen an und Schwalben,
Nicht zu frühe, nicht zu frühe!
Blühe nur, mein Bäumchen, blühe!
Meinethalben, meinethalben!

Ja! ich fühl ein wenig Wonne,
Denn die Lerche singt erträglich,
Philomele nicht alltäglich,
Nicht so übel scheint die Sonne.

Daß es keinen überrasche,
Mich im grünen Feld zu sehen!
Nicht verschmäh ich auszugehen,
Kleistens Frühling in der Tasche.
