Fleur de bonheur
Language: French (Français)
Je suis heureux de ce doux gage;
Une fleur fait mon bonheur!
D'un peu d'amour c'est le présage,
Et l'espoir est dans mon coeur!
Oui, reste là, toujours cachée,
Ma blanche fleur!
Ah! reste là, près de mon coeur!
Car cette main qui t'a touchée,
Porte bonheur!

Parmi tes soeurs, dans la prairie,
Tu charmais si bien les yeux!
Et maintenant, déjà flétrie,
Là, pourtant, je t'aime mieux!
Toi mon trésor, toi fleur fanée,
Ma blanche fleur!
Ah! reste là prè de mon coeur...

Réponds, dis-moi bien vite:
Suis-je aimé? Réponds tout bas!
Mais effeuiller sa marguerite,
Serait mal! Je n'ose pas!
Ah! reste là, toujours la même,
Ma blanche fleur!
Ah! reste entière et sur mon coeur!
Car se fier à ce qu'on aime,
Porte bonheur!
