Begrüßt Dich[,] holde Kaiserbraut,
Und froh erkling' Dir im Gemüth
Der Harfe süsser Zauberlaut;

Du schaltest nun in unsrer Mitte
Als Segensengel, fromm und mild;
Es ziert den Thron, es schützt die Hütte,
Das allerschönste Frauenbild.

D'rum töne schallend Dir entgegen
Des Willkommgrußes froher Laut;
Dich schütze stets des Himmels Segen,
Du holde, schöne Kaiserbraut!

Greets you, lovely bride of the Emperor,
And may the sweet magical tones of the harp
Sound joyfully in your spirit;

You shall now reign in our midst
As an angel of blessing, pious and mild;
The throne is adorned, the cottage is protected
By the most beautiful of all women.

Therefore may the joyful sound of our 
Greeting of welcome resound toward you;
May the blessings of Heaven ever protect you,
Graceful, beautiful bride of the Emperor!
