Schlachtfeld um Stallingrad

Als hätte eine Welt hier ausgeleert
ihr Hirn, ihr Blut und ihre Eingeweide,
dazwischen bunter Stoff zu einem Kleide
ein Brillenglas blieb dabei unversehrt,
ein Grammophon mit Waltzermelodien
die Toten halten feil nach ihre Waren
von Bomben aufgesprengt und plattgefahren
von Pantzerketten: also lagen sie...
Ich sah sie liegen, und ein jeder lag 
an seinem Platz und hatte Platz gefunden, 
und alle hatten sie nur ein Gesicht.
Es war ein grauverwölkter Wintertag,
und dann fiel Schnee und deckte alle Wunden
und Stille war... Hier sprach das Weltgericht.
