Da draussen ist ein Garten
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
Da draussen ist ein Garten,
Sind viele Blümlein drein,
Da will ich deiner warten,
Ja warten,
Beim hellen Mondenschein.

Da ist auch eine Wiesen,
Führt mitten durch ein Steg,
Dort will ich dich begrüssen,
Ja grüssen,
Auf deinem Abendweg.

Da ist auch eine Lauben
Von grünem, jungen Wein,
Dort will ich an dich glauben,
Ja glauben,
Und wunderselig sein.

Da ist auch eine Linde
Am weiten Wiesenplan,
Und wenn ich dich nicht finde,
Ja finde,
So hänge ich mich dran.

There is a garden out there
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
There is a garden out there,
There are many flowers in it,
There I shall wait for you,
Yes, wait,
In the bright moonlight.

There is also a meadow,
A path leads through the middle of it,
There I shall greet you,
Yes, greet you,
During your evening walk.

There is also an arbour
Of green, young grapevines,
There I shall believe in you,
Yes, believe,
And be wondrously happy.

There is also a linden tree
Beside the broad plain,
And if I do not find you,
Yes, find you,
Then I shall hang myself on it.
