Guten Tag, lieber Andres, und fröhliche Ostern.
    Es ist mir sehr lieb, daß Du mich über Johannes 
den Täufer zu Hülfe rufst. Nicht zwar, weil ich eben
sonderlich helfen kann; sondern weil ich so gerne von ihm spreche 
und sprechen höre.
    Du schreibst, daß er Dir so groß vorkömmt, 
und Du kannst Dir doch nicht recht sagen warum. Das ist recht gut.
Andres. Man weiß oft grade denn am meisten, wenn man nicht 
recht sagen kann warum.
    Daß nun Johannes der Täufer uns groß vorkömmt,
ist kein Wunder. [...]
