Ich liebe dich und will dich ewig lieben
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
Ich will von Neuem dir es angeloben,
Und alle Götter hören mich da oben!
In meinem tiefsten Herzen steht's geschrieben,

I love you and shall love you forever!
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
I want to swear it to you anew,
And [may] all the gods above hear me!
It is written in the depths of my heart:
I love you and shall love you forever!

I feel a fire burning intensely within me.
It is love, [even if] you give it another name!
Within me is written in letters of fire:
I love you and shall love you forever!

And let me then look into your eyes as well,
Grant me this heavenly rapture
Only until there, too, it is written:
I love you and shall love you forever!
