Lokkerne
Language: Danish (Dansk)
O jeg synker hen i Tanker
Ved at see paa dine Lokker,
Sødere end Vinens Ranker,
Fuldere, end Skovens Klokker!

Hvilke Anelser og Drømme
I det Ringlende, det Vundne!
I de slangesnoete Strømme!
I det Løste, i det Bundne!

Der kan Blikket henrykt famle,
Sig fordybe, boltre, vugge —
Der kan Digtekonsten samle
Hvad den bruger af det Smukke,

Og naar den har længe samlet
Som en Bi af Blomsterkrukken
Flyve langsomt til sin Celle,
Tung af Sødme, skjønhedsdrukken.

Confirmed with Emil Aarestrup, Samlede Skrifter, red. af Hans Brix, bind 2, Kbh .: Dansk Sprog- og Litteraturselskab, C.A. Reitzels Boghandel, 1976, p.163
