Lungo la via del mare
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Lungo la via del mare, il mio amore ed io,
Creammo i primi canti del nostro gran poema.
Eran parole leggere
Come l'onde azzurre dai riflessi di perla.
Il lieve percuotersi dell'acqua sulla rena
Accompagnava con tenue melodia
La poesia sommessa
Che saliva dai nostri cuori
Nell'estasi dell'amore novello.
Sulla spiaggia raccoglievamo conchiglie
Per sentire nelle rosee cavità
Avvicinate agli orecchi,
Il fragore lontano dell'Oceano. Oh!
L'Oceano ha strade infinite.
Noi cercammo nel mare aperto la nostra via.
E i gorghi ci travolsero. Oh!
