به رویای زیبای دورتّا پی ببرد؟
به رمز و رازش
که آخر چگونه گشوده شد؟

افسوس! روزی دانشجویی
لبان او را بوسید،
و این بوسه 
رازی را بر او آشکار کرد،
شور عشق بود،
عشقی دیوانه وار!
سرمستی ای دیوانه وار!
آخر چه کسی می‌تواند
نوازش لطیف بوسه ای چنین آتشین را
وصف کند؟

آه، رویای من!
آه، تمام هستی ام!

ثروت به چه کار آید؟
اگر خوشبختی سر انجام
بار دیگر چنین شکفته باشد؟
آه، ای رویای زرین!
کاش چنین عشقی ممکن می‌شد...
