Нынче ночью кто-то долго пел. Далеко скитаясь в темном поле, Голос грустной удалью звенел, Пел о прошлом счастье и о воле. Я открыл окно и сел на нём. Ты спала... Я долго слушал жадно... С поля пахло рожью и дождём, Ночь была душиста и прохладна. Что в душе тот голос пробудил, Я не знаю... Но душа грустила, И тебя так нежно я любил, Как меня когда-то ты любила.
