Evening Magic
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
The lake is dreaming between rocks, the grove is gently whispering,
The silvery glow of the moon illumines the mountain slope.
And the song of the nightingale echoes from the dark forest,
And songs are wafting from the lake sounding magical.
I sat on the lake shore in the depths of sweet dream,
There I dreamt of soaring up to the heavenly realm.
Who could ever forget the blissful place,
The enchanting tones still sounding deep in my heart.
