Mägdlein am Brunnen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mägdlein am Brunnen steh'n,
wollen Wasser schöpfen.
Eine hab' ich gern geseh'n,
die mit blonden Zöpfen.
Lass mich trinken aus dem Krug,
Blonde, lass  mich nippen!
Lieber tränk' ich vollen Zug
dir von deinen Lippen.

Tief in deiner Seele Grund
quillt wohl lauter Liebe,
wenn's nur dich, an meinem Mund
auch zu trinken, triebe!
Weil mein Herz ein Brünnelein,
drinnen Lieder fließen;
immer, wenn du durstig bist,
wird sich's dir erschließen.
