Du hast erhöht mein irdisch Haus, 
da ich betete um Erlösung von dem Tode.
Ich rief den Herrn an, den Vater meines Herrn, 
dass er mich lasse nicht ohne Hilfe am Tage meiner Trübsal.
Zur Zeit, da mich verfolgen die Stolzen, 
will ich loben deinen Namen ohne Unterlass, und ihn preisen mit Danksagung.
Herr, du mein Gott,
du hast mich erhört, hast mich erlöset aus Gefahr und bittrer Noth,
hast errettet mich von sich'rem Tod.
Glückselig, die in Unschuld gehn,
die wandeln im Gesetz des Herrn,
darob will ich lobpreisen dich, mein Herr und Gott!
