Sehnsucht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie oft bin ich in Einsamkeit
Den Waldpfad hier gegangen
Und lauschte wie so leis und weit
Die Glocken der Herde klangen.

Die treue Rüde sprang voran,
Kehrt' suchend zu mir wieder
Und schmiegte sich mir kosend an,
Sank ich im Moose nieder.

Und wieder wandle ich allein,
Der Wind spielt in den Bäumen;
Es löst sich sanft die Seele mein
In Lauschen, Fühlen und Träumen.

Voll Sehnen ruft sie deinen Geist
Und spannt nach dir die Schwingen.
Wann ist es, das der Schleier reißt
Und ich zu dir mag dringen?
