Wiederfinden
Language: German (Deutsch)
So lass dich umfassen, mein Leben,
Das Hangen und Bangen ist fort --
Du bist mir zurück gegeben,
Ich hör dein beseligend Wort.

Und sprich, war das Stürmen nicht schaurig,
So fern meiner liebenden Brust?
Und war das Erwachen nicht traurig,
Als du meiner Qual dir bewusst?

O lasse mein Aug an dir weiden
Und flüstre mir zu: Ich bin dein!
Du darfst mir nun nie mehr scheiden
Und lockte die Welt noch so fein!

Lass branden die stürmenden Wogen,
Im Tale rauscht süßer der Bach. --
Die Fremde hat täuschend belogen,
Doch nimmer das heimische Dach!
