Schon bricht das Glück, verhalten viel zu lang,
höher hervor und überfüllt die Wiese;
der Sommer fühlt schon, der sich streckt, der Riese,
im alten Nußbaum seiner Jugend Drang.

Die leichten Blüten waren bald verstreut,
das ernstre Grün tritt handelnd in die Bäume,
und, rund um sie, wie wölbten sich die Räume,
und wieviel morgen war von heut zu heut.
