by Wang-Chang-Ling (698 - 765)
Translation by Mario Chini (1876 - 1959)

In Cammino
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the Chinese (中文)
È una notte di nuvole torbide.
Camminare così in mezzo
alle tenebre è un molto brutto andare.
Ma domattina a bruzzolo questi monti,
serrati l'uno sull'altro,
debbono essere già oltre passati.
Pur troppo m'è impossibile rallentare il viaggio,
fermarmi e quante giovani ahimè,
in ogni villaggio! Se domani esse chiedono
di me com'è ch'io vadasi ratto, dite:
Ha l'anima di ghiaccio, il cor di giada!
