Ecoute ! à ce Rameau s'attache une espérance,
L'Ange qui me conduit sait mon cœur comme loi ;
Ah ! s'il a compris ma souffrance,
Sois heureux.... plus heureux que moi !

Pour cet humble présent j'ai fait un long voyage,
Mais l'ange me réclame et va m'ôter à toi.
Ecoute, il me faut du courage :
