by Ladislav Quis (1846 - 1913)

V lese
Language: Czech (Čeština)
V mech se polož, zamhuř oči
k snění jen ne k spánku v lese,
naslouchej, jak korunami
temný ohlas žalmů třese.

Smutně nad tebou se vznáší,
jako opuštěné ptáče,
smutně lká, tak smutně, smutně,
až ti srdce pozapláče.

Žalná píseň v českých lesích
stísněných jak z ňader kvílí,
jak by se jí od našého
lidu byly naučily.
