by Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926)

Ach aus eines Engels Fühlung falle
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ach aus eines Engels Fühlung falle
Schein in dieses Meer auf einem Mond,
drin meine Herz, stillringende Koralle,
sein jüngsten Zweigungen bewohnt.

Not, mir von unkenntlichem Verüber
zugefügte, bleibt mir ungewiss,
Strömung zögert, Strömung drängt hinüber,
Tiefe wirkt und Hindernis.

Aus dem starren fühllosen Alten drehn
sich Geschöpfe, plötzlich auserlesen,
und das ewig Stumme aller Wesen
überstürzt ein dröhnendes Geschehn.
