by Cäsar Flaischlen (1864 - 1920)

Weil dir ein goldener Traum zerronnen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Weil dir ein goldener Traum zerronnen,
was hast du drum für herbe Qual?!
es ist doch nicht das erste Mal,
daß dich enttäuscht, was du begonnen!

Den Kopf hoch! auf! wozu verzagen
kleingläubig gleich und hoffnungslos?!
dein Mut schien doch so riesengroß,
das Letzte selber kühn zu wagen!

Auf drum und weiter! ohne Bangen!
und wenn's dir noch soviel entlaubt!
Wer will und an sein Können glaubt,
wird immer an sein Ziel gelangen!
