Schlafe wohl!
Language: German (Deutsch)
Schlafe wohl! Im Tal von Schatten
singt das Wasser klar und lind,
silbern deckt der Tau die Matten,
schlafe wohl mein süßes Kind!

Schlafe wohl! Im Lärchenbaume
hat ein Nest gesucht der Wind,
hebt die Schwingen nur im Traume,
schlafe wohl mein süßes Kind!

Schlafe wohl! Und wenn geschieden
wir auf lange Tage sind,
ich will trauern, doch in Frieden
schlumm're du, mein süßes Kind!
