De äro så få bland sanden i havet som förstå det. Ensam har jag kommit, ensam skall jag gå. Mitt fria hjärta har ingen broder. Kristna spöken sitta i alla hjärtan och sträcka ut armodets händer. Den sötma som strömmar till mig från alla håll är eder otillgänglig. Det är tronens underbara ensamhet, det är rikedomen, rikedomen som böjer knä.
