by Andreas Grimelund Jynge (1870 - 1955)

I Sol og Regn
Language: Norwegian (Bokmål)
Naar Solen staar høit i Sky,
og ligetil Solen daler
spanker Hanefar kry
og reiser sin Hals og galer

Men hvis det begynder saa smaat
at regne paa Gaard og i Enge
Og han blir lidt pjusket og vaad
da lar han Kammen hænge

Da tyr han, den Stakkar, ind
og sæther sig lunt paa Pinden
Mens Hønen med dyvaadt Skind
maa stræve derude mod Vinden

Du stygge, du lidstige Skarn!
som sparer din egen Hale
og lar saa Kone of Barn
gaa ude i Regnet of gale!
