Schifferständchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Schaukle auf den grünen Wellen
rastlos fort, mein leichterKahn,
Liebe soll die Segel schwellen,
Liebe führen dich die Bahn.
Schäumende Wogen
kommen gezogen,
tragen hinüber zu Liebchens Haus
mich in die Nacht, in die dunckle hinaus.

Tön, mein Lied, zu ihrem Preise
durch des Abends sanfte Ruh',
bis ein süßer Schlummer leise,
schliesst die lieben Augen zu.
Bis Traumgebilde,
liebliche, milde,
schliessen das Herz und die Seele ein,
daß drinnen wohnet die Liebe allein.

Schlumm're, bis die gold'ne Sonne
dich aus lieben Träumen küsst
und in's Herz dir süßen Wonne,
sel'gen Himmelsfrieden giesst.
In blauer Ferne
droben die Sterne
halten getreulich am Himmel Wacht,
Liebchen, mein Liebchen, nun gute Nacht!
