Blühet, rote Rosen, bald, Blühet für die Hand der Süßen! Wo sie weilet, wo sie wallt, Will ich sie mit Rosen grüßen. Blühet ja recht bald dies Jahr, Meine Liebste zu erfreuen! Gelbe will ich ihr ins Haar, Auf den Weg ihr weiße streuen! Das ist hohe Seligkeit, Wenn ich ihr die Rosen pflücke, Wenn ich in der Wonnezeit Ihre Brust mit Rosen schmücke.
