by Joannes Reddingius (1873 - 1944)

Bij de zilversparren
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Bij de zilversparren-rijen is
een wereld van verblijen,
waar de held're droppels blinken,
suisel-lichte stemmen klinken.

Nu te luist'ren, nu te schouwen
naar het droomrig zilverblauwen,
naar de fijne parelkransen,
die op windewieg'ling dansen.

Wat toch zongen, wat verhaalden
al die fijne, scherpe naalden,
al die spelende edel-kleuren,
al die zangen, al die geuren?

Oberon, is dit uw woning,
zeg het mij, o elfenkoning,
komen straks de slanke scharen
met de groenig-gouden haren?

Werp ook mij een mantel om
in dit geurig heiligdom ,
in dit oord van diep geluk,
'k wil een makker zijn van Puck.
