by Henri Jules Piazza (1861 - 1929)

Au jardin des rêves
Language: French (Français)
Dans le jardin fleuri des rêves
J'ai mené quand j'étais enfant
Mon espoir frais et triomphant.
Mais où sont les lointaines grèves
Du beau jardin fleuri de rêve?

Plus tard dans le jardin des rêves
J'ai conduit mon amour naissant,
Mon tendre amour d'adolescent.
Que les heures douce sont brèves
Dans le jardin fleur des rêves...

Et voici qu'au jardin des rêves
Que la vie, hélas, saccagea,
Triste et seul je mène, déjà,
Mês regrets qui pleurent sans trèves
La mort du beau jardin des rêves.
