from Volkslieder (Folksongs)

Megizenem az édes anyámnak
Language: Hungarian (Magyar)
Mëgizenëm az édës anyámnak:
Fehér szoknyát varrasson lányának.
Fehér szoknyát, hat fëlhajtásosra,
Piros cipőt fekete sarokra.

Gyënge harmat neveli a buzát,
Édës anya neveli a lányát.
De idővel más viseli gondját,
Más is éli vele a világát.

Bárcsak engëm valaki mëgkérne!
Aki nekëm recefátyolt vënne!
Én nem bánnám mindën nap mëg verne,
Úgy belõlem friss mënyecske lënne!
