Freundliche Dornen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Weisst du noch, mein süsses Leben
Wie zuerst ich dich erblickt?
Hattest drauss im Garten eben
Einen Rosenstrauss gepflückt;
Wolltest hastig mir entfliehen,
Rosenröthe im Gesicht,
Doch dein Kleid, es half kein Ziehen,
Denn die Dornen liessen's nicht;
Liessen nicht ihr arg Gekose,
Bis ich helfend mich gebückt,
Und so hab' ich, schönste Rose,
Dich vom Rosenstrauch gepflückt.
