by Ludwig Peter August Burmeister (1804 - 1870), as Johann Peter Lyser

Schwäbisches Lied
Language: Swabian (Schwäbisch)
Mei [herzliebschtes]1 Schatzerl,
Komm, reich mir dei Tatzerl!
Un gib mir a Schmatzerl,
Un sei wieder gut.

  Du bischt ja so zierlich,
  Un bischt so manirlich,
  Un hascht a Gesichtel,
Wie Milch un wi a Blut.

Un so a hübsch Mädel
Heischt's Stanzel, heischt's Käthel,
Heischt's Nannel, heischt's Annel,
Muß freundli mir sein.

Drum häng nit dein Mäulerl,
Un kuck, wi a Eulerl,
Dei Hansel thut bitte:
"Mei Schatzerl schlag' ein!"

Ach, herzliebschtes Schatzerl!
Ach, zuckersüß Katzerl!
Mei Schatzerl, mei Katzerl!
Ich lieb' dich so sehr.

  Un wirscht du mei Banderl,
  Un werd' i dei Manderl,
  So liebt schon das Manderl
  Sei Banderl noch mehr.
