by Thor Næve Lange (1851 - 1915)

Sang af Boscosel de Chastelard
Language: Danish (Dansk)
       Ak, Elskovslyst,
Du skal ej tolkes mer for hende,
langt heller Kamp mod pansret Fjende
end mod et iskoldt Kvindebryst;
        ak, Elskovslyst.

        Mit Hjerte tøer
som Sne for Sommersolens Aande;
mer har hun Fryd deraf end Vaande,
at jeg for hendes Fødder døer.
        Mit Hjerte tøer.

        Lad ske, lad ske!
Hvad Tvang og Kval hun end forsøgte,
skal intetsteds hun fra mig flygte
men Dag og Nat mit Ansigt se.
        Lad ske, lad ske!

Confirmed with Thor Lange, Strengespil, Gyldendalske Boghandel, Kbh., 1906, p. 30.
