by Emil Aarestrup (1800 - 1856)

Kom ud, min lille Stump!
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Kom ud, min lille Stump!
Tag paa de gule Støvler!
Kom ud, hvor Kildens Plump
I Græsset gaaer og vrøvler.
En gammel Kone graa
Gi'r dig af Skaalen Drikke,
Og hendes Døttre gaae
Med Melkespand og strikke.

Med skjæve Been du stumper
Igjennem Revl og Krat,
Og Oldenborren dumper
Fra Grenen paa din Hat.
Hvor Storken vader i Mosen,
Hvor Lilien blomstrer guul,
Hvor Bien kryber i Rosen,
Der vil vi lege Skjul.

Din Moder nu derhjemme
Har travlt med tusind Ting,
Maa rydde op og gjemme,
Hvad vi har slængt omkring;
Nu feier hun din Stue,
Og gi'r sine Blomster Vand,
Nu stryger hun din Hue,
Og gjør din Seng i Stand.

Nu hendes Navn i Barken
Jeg snitte vil -- Giv Agt!
Et Kongelys fra Marken
Skal plantes her til Vagt.
Men seer jeg ret? hun kommer;
Hun kommer alt, hvor hist
Med sine sorte Blommer
Sig strækker Træets Qvist.

Hvem holder hun i Armen
Og trykker til sit Bryst?
Hvem blotter hun vel Barmen,
Den søde, for, med Lyst?
Det er din lille Broder;
Han har en evig Tørst --
Nu, løb omkaps til Moder!
Kan du faae Kysset først?
