by Heinrich Seidel (1842 - 1906)

Die Rosen blühen im Mondenschein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Rosen blühen im Mondenschein
In der silbernen Juninacht,
Da alles schläft, -- mein Herz allein,
Mein Herz nur pocht und wacht.

Die Rosen blühen ohne Zahl
Beisammen froh gesellt,
Die Quellen rieseln und rauschen zu Thal
Selbander in die Welt.

Ich weiss eine Blume, die blüht allein
In der stillen Mondennacht,
Wenn alles schläft -- mein Herz allein,
Mein Herz nur pocht und wacht.
