Mein eigen

Nun bist fortan mein eigen du

O Name voller Glück und Ruh,
Gar wonnesam und traut!
Mein Sinn ist still und fromm und rein,
Und war doch einst so wild,
Mein Herz ist wie eine Heil'genschrein,
Du das Madonnenbild.

So trag ich wohl genug in mir,
Genug für alle Zeit,
Den reinsten Glauben dank ich dir
Und Trost und Seligkeit.
Was Gott auch sonst für Lust ersinnt,
Mir gab er höchste Gnad',
Indem er dich, du frommes Kind,
Fest an mein Herze that.
