Das Lied an den Bach
Language: German (Deutsch)
Bächlein, sag', was soll dein Rauschen,
das so süß ins Ohr mir dringt?
Immer muss ich steh'n und lauschen,
weil es gar so heimlich klingt.

Ist mir doch, du wolltest sagen
mir ein traulich liebes Wort,
und ich fühl' mein Herze schlagen,
und es reißt mich mächtig fort.

Ja, dein Singen voller Freude
ruft ein altes Lied mir wach;
tausendchörig tönt die Saite
mir im tiefsten Herzen nach.

Was die Abendwinde fächeln,
schmetternd preist der Vögleich Chor,
was die holden Blümlein lächeln,
rauschst du heimlich mir ins Ohr.
