Süße Morgenlüfte wehen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Süße Morgenlüfte wehen
Auf dem Feld, auf bunter Au',
Und auf jeder Blume stehen
Glänzend schön die Tröpfchen Thau.

Da durchbricht mit gold'nem Scheine
Sonnenglanz das Nebelmeer,
Von den Blumen bleibt wol keine
Ungetrocknet, thränenschwer.

Ach, an jedem lieben Morgen
Ist mein Auge thränenfeucht,
Hab' es nie dem Tag verborgen,
Der so Vieler Schmerz verscheucht.

Alles strahlt in Frühlingswonne,
Grüßet froh den jungen Tag -
Kommst Du niemals, holde Sonne,
Die mein Augen trocknen mag?
