O Stern im Meere
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
O Stern im Meere,
Fürstin der Liebe,
Aller Betrübten Labung und Trost!
Wenn du mir lächelst,
Fürcht ich kein Unheil,
Alles ist heiter, Alles ist gut!
Höre mein Flehen,
Neige dein Antlitz,
Gib, meine Herrin, Frieden und [Ruh']1!

O Stern im Meere,
Mutter der Schmerzen,
Aller Bedrängten Hilfe und [Heil]2!
Wenn du mich tröstest,
Trocknen die Thränen,
Schwindet all' Trübsal, schwindet [das]3 Leid!
Höre mein Flehen,
Neige dein Antlitz,
Gib, meine Herrin, Frieden und [Ruh']1!

O Stern im Meere,
Pforte des Himmels,
Aller der Schiffer Hoffnung und Ziel!
Wenn du mir leuchtest,
Wenn du mich leitest,
Schweigen die Stürme, [nahet der]4 Port.
Höre mein Flehen,
Neige dein Antlitz,
Gib, meine Herrin, Frieden und [Ruh']1!
