Blümleins Thränen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Steht ein Blümlein an dem Bach,
Blümlein schön und minnig,
Hält die blauen Augen wach,
Blickt so traut, so sinnig.

Doch ich seh' im Auge dir
Helle Thränen schimmern.
Blümlein, Blümlein! sage mir,
Was dich mag bekümmern?

Blümlein schaut mich freundlich an,
Spricht gar süß und traurig:
Ach, die Nacht hat's mir gethan,
War auch gar zu schaurig.

Stürme sausten um mich her,
Schwarze Wolken zogen,
Sterne glänzten nirgends mehr
An des Himmels Bogen.

Doch die Nacht voll Schrecken wich,
Die mich trüb umsponnen,
Und ich wiege fröhlich mich
In dem Licht der Sonnen.

Bräutlich schaut das Morgenlicht
Mit geheimem Sehnen,
Küßt von meinem Angesicht
Alle meine Thränen.
