by Heinrich Seidel (1842 - 1906)

Einsamkeit
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mondesglanz auf feuchten Wiesen,
Auf dem stillen Nebelsee,
Bäume ragen, dunkle Riesen,
Wo ich einsam sinnend steh!
Vogelruf aus tauigen Feldern,
Wasserrauschen fern im Grund,
Tiefes Schweigen in den Wäldern,
Sternenflimmer hoch im Rund.

Und mein Blut geht hin und wieder,
Und vorüber rinnt die Zeit,
Schauer senkt sich auf mich nieder
Vor dem Hauch der Einsamkeit.
