by Charles Polydore de Mont (1857 - 1931)

Heur venster staat open
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Heur venster staat open ;
het teeken is goed !
zij wacht me, zij wenkt me,
het lieveken zoet !

Van achter ' t gordijntje
bespiedt zij de baan ,
en ziet ze me komen
zoet lacht ze mij aan !

o Zet maar, berei maar
de stoeltjes met spoed :
eene uur bij elkander
zoo is het zoo goed !

En zet ze in het hoeksken
heel dichte te gaar,
nog tienmaal zoo zalig
aanschouw ik u daar !

Doe open het deurken,
zet gauw ' t op de klink !
Ik kom, o mijn liefken,
ik loop en ik spring !

Te lang is de weg mij !
'k wou ' k ware de wind,
'k waar seffens door ' t slotgat
en kuste u gezwind !
