Sommernacht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Gedankenmüde, traumbesiegt
ruh' ich im Gartenzelt.
Im tiefen Schlaf versunken liegt
um mich die ganze Welt.

Hoch über mir voll Märchenpracht
entflammt ein Paradies!
Still ist die laue Sommernacht,
verführerisch und süß.

Auf bunten Teppichbeeten irrt
des Mondes zitternd Licht,
die Rosen senden sinnverwirrt
ihr duftend Angesicht.

Ein Springbrunn' flüstert wunderleis'
Trugrätsel irr und alt,
und Nachtigallen singen heiß
der Liebe Allgewalt.
